The two-month marathon defined winners of the most prestigious prize for the Israel Russian-speaking community –“The person of year – 2006” has finished on November 16th, 2006. The prize has the name “The gold nine” and is presented in nine nominations:
    1) For the good of the community,
    2) The stars of the future,
    3) Investment at science,
    4) Investment at Israel fine arts,
    5) Investment at Israel music art,
       6) Investment at Israel cinematograph,
       7) Investment at Israel sport,
       8) “Help to the front” (special nomination “determined” by the second Lebanese war,
       9) Television nomination “Front reporting”.
     The ceremony of rewarding winners took place in the premises of the theatre “Gesher” and was translated by the 9th channel of Israel television. More than eight hundred guests were present at this holiday – public men, journalists, actors, musicians. For the first time the ceremony was translated together with translation to Hebrew, and it was already second time that Russian-speaking America and Australia saw “The Gold Nine” and then friends and relatives of our heroes and our former compatriots.
     We are glad to inform that the prize in nomination “Investment at Israel fine Arts” has been rewarded by Tatyana Belokonenko – active author of our site. She gained a victory over such well-known masters of fine arts as Miriam Gamburd, Michel Grobman, Boris Lekar, Shimon Adjiashvili at this prestigious competition.
     The year 2006 was extremely fruitful for Tatyana – these are taking part in numerous collective exhibitions, and personal exhibition in the painters’ village Ein-God, and illustration of the book of the famous Israelite writer Oded Sushard, and the series of pointed caricatures on topics of the second Lebanese war, and majority of other projects. The booklet for Haifa zoological gardens, which everybody entering it, receives, is the subject of particular pride. The director of Haifa zoological gardens, having the collection of booklets of zoological gardens from many countries, considers that the booklet of Haifa zoological gardens is the best of them.
    Tatyana combines her creative work with educational work successfully. She leads the paint shop at Haifa school Leo Bek. She organizes participation of children (not only her own) in competitions of drawing. Her pupil Nastya Grudinina took the third place at competition “Children and small beasts” carried out by the newspaper “Vesti” with participation of Haifa municipality, administration of absorption and Haifa zoological gardens. Also she took the first place in competition of drawing on asphalt carried out within the project on restoration of Adar.
    Tatyana Belokonenko lives with saturated creative life, and you remain be astonished how this delicate woman can have strength and time to accomplish so many projects. And Tatyana’s plans for future are not less grandiose. These are illustrations of books for kiddies and illustrations of the text-book for children of 12-14 years old (the order of the Ministry of education), as well as participation in foregoing exhibitions, and many others.
